AOTS is for and by the Orthopaedic Surgeons dedicated to the development of orthopaedic trauma services in India, especially in the eastern zone of the country. The association conducts regular educational services for orthopods in like workshops, seminars, cadaveric training sessions and an annual national conference. The experienced Orthopaedic surgeons of
AOTS also arrange FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMMES and case to case advisory on management of
difficult trauma cases for the minds that never stop learning.

Trauma Update 2019

AOTS Trauma Update 2019 was held at ITC Sonar, Kolkata from September 13 – 15, where ideas in globally trending technologies in Orthopaedic Trauma were shared. It also introduced Kolkata Trauma Advanced Course (KOTAC) for the first time.

TRAUMA UPDATE 2018

The 4th Annual Conference of AOTS, held from September 7 -9, 2018 Kolkata. The theme of the conference was Lower Limb Fractures - RATIONAL TREATMENT. It was organised by Association of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeons in partnership with International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery & Traumatology (SICOT), India & The Association for the Rationale Treatment of Fractures (ARTOF), Munich.

TRAUMA UPDATE 2017

This was the 3rd time; our annual conference was held in this culturally rich city again from 1st to 3rd September, 2017 at ITC Sonar. This year’s UPDATE had the focus on Hip, Spine, Pelvis and Lower Limb whereas, the highlight of the show was embedded in Peterborough Hip Course on the last day, with Mr. Martyn Parker and Mr. Richard Griffiths.

TRAUMA UPDATE 2016

After the huge turn-out of the first annual meet, TRAUMA UPDATE 2016 followed the same path of success with the footfall of around 500 delegates. It was held on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August at Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences under the able leadership of Dr Anjan Pan (President), Dr Suhas Ranjan Bala (Vice-president), Dr Gaur Gautam Kar (Secretary), Dr Ravi G. Bharadwaj (Chairman, Scientific Committee) and Dr Rajeev Raman (Treasurer).

The conference had the concentration on Injuries of Upper Limb with focus on the Shoulder Joint. Leicester Shoulder Trauma Course from UK was featured on 7th August, Mr. Amit Modi and Mr. R. K. Pandey graced the dais.
